Hungry! Hungry little beasts

All the Tyranids I've manged to get done.  Should only have 20 or so left.  Most of the bugs are white with a purple on black carapace, I made a few with a blue on black to differentiate squads. 

Some new buildings

Here's a few new buildings I made for our Warmachine/Hordes games (28mm)


Buildings were made with coffee stirrers.  I like them better because they are not as wide as pop sickle sticks.  Base coated with a cheap brown umber acrylic paint and then dry brushed a few times.  As always different teas were used as flock on the bases.

The Fortress Must Fall

Mega Warmachine/Hordes game at the last Strategicon Convention in Los Angeles.  210 points of Cryx + Cryx Mercenaries vs five 25 point armies player controlled armies.  Cryx stood against the combined onslaught of Khador, Trolls, Mercenaries & Protectorate detachments.

New Brushes

Got some new Windsor and Newton series 7 brushes to replace my three year old ones this week.  Wow, I'd forgotten how nice these are.  They have such a nice shape and hold it for a long time.

Desert in Bloom

My first modular terrain table.  I went with a desert them, fits my Italians just fine and its simpler to build.  Added some dry grass fields with flowers in them for color.
